A full C major octave in one holder
When a three-bar Power Chimes set is no longer enough, this eight-bar version is the next step. The bars run from c4 up to c5, giving you a complete C major octave. That means you can play real melodies rather than just adding colour, and sound chords as well.
Beech holder, premium components
The bars are held together by a beech wood holder measuring 16.5 x 16.5 x 3.5 cm. The holder doubles as a handle: hold it in one hand and sweep across the bars with the other for a shimmering, long-decaying run. Premium components keep the sound clean and even across the whole octave.
Tuned to 440 Hz
The bars are tuned to a 440 Hz reference, matching standard concert pitch. The Power Chimes therefore blend without any trouble with piano, guitar, flute or any other conventionally tuned instrument.
In the studio, the classroom and the therapy room
The long-ringing high bars add a fine shimmer to recordings, become an easy-to-handle melodic instrument in a lesson, and serve as the closing, quietening gesture in a sound therapy session. One movement is enough to change the mood of a room.
Eight bars, and what you can add to them
Alongside this full octave the range also includes three-bar sets in C, F and G major, in A minor, and in a neutral a3-e4-a4 tuning. If you already own one of those, the eight-bar version widens what you can do: whole melodies become possible instead of a single chord, while a sweep across the bars still gives you the familiar shimmering run.
