Rose quartz in brief
Rose quartz is the pale-pink variety of quartz, coloured by traces of titanium, iron and manganese; its hardness is around Mohs 7. Its soft, soothing look makes it a favoured jewellery stone. In the crystal tradition it is known as a stone of love, emotional balance and harmony, this is tradition, not medical fact.
Make and care
The pendant is about 4 cm and is nickel, lead and cadmium free in line with European REACH standards. It is polished from a natural mineral, so its shade and pattern are unique. Strong, prolonged sunlight can fade the pink over time.
