Bongo sound that fits in your bag
The Pocket Bongo combines the sounds of cajon and bongo in a surprisingly flat drum of approx. 16 × 16 × 4 cm. You play it with the same finger and hand technique as standard bongos, yet it weighs only about 175 grams, so you can truly take it anywhere - to rehearsals, school, trips or the street.
No tuning, no weather worries
Unlike skin instruments, the Pocket Bongo is not affected by humid or cold air and never needs tuning. It is made in Germany from Gabon veneer with an SC6 playing surface. This is the larger, low-tuned version: its smaller sibling sounds higher, and together they form a complete bongo pair.
Attach it to a cajon or a percussion mount
Thanks to its flat construction you can fix it to the side of a cajon with Velcro, adding an extra voice while you play seated. The low and high versions can also be mounted together on a mini percussion board, and for transport the drum slips easily into a standard cajon bag. Whether you drum, teach rhythm classes or simply enjoy playing at home, it is a versatile companion.
