Rekord hot pepper is a truly prolific hot variety. Indeterminate, producing large numbers of fruits on each plant. The fruit is light green, of the pointed-hot type. Originally bred for tunnel cultivation, but it also performs excellently outdoors.
Growing
Sow in February–March into seed trays. Transplant in late May to the garden, or earlier under cover. Plant spacing 40 cm, row spacing 50 cm.
You can pick the hot peppers continuously from July. Classic uses: strong seasoning for gulyás, pörkölt, lecsó. String up and dry for year-round home-made hot pepper.
