Aranyeső pepper is the modern version of the long-loved Fehérözön type. It forms a low, compact bush that doesn't grow tall — so it's easy to move around in the garden, and harvesting won't strain your back. The fruit is the stuffing-pepper shape, and ripens from light to golden-yellow on the plant — which is where it gets its name.
Sowing and care
Sow in February–March into seed trays kept in a warm spot. Transplant seedlings to the garden at the end of May, when there's no more frost risk. Spacing: 50 cm between rows, 40 cm between plants.
You can pick peppers continuously from July. Ideal for stuffed peppers, lecsó, fresh salads — a versatile household pepper. The compact form also suits balconies and small gardens.
