The head of this pendulum is made of polished, gleaming white selenite, while its chain is set with seven chakra-coloured stones: amethyst, iolite, blue aventurine, dark green aventurine, yellow aventurine, carnelian and red jasper. The drop-shaped stone is about 4 cm. Each piece differs slightly in size and shade.
Selenite and satin spar
Many stones sold as selenite are in fact satin spar – both are varieties of the mineral gypsum, with a fine, silky sheen. In crystal lore selenite is regarded as a stone of clarity and calm, traditionally linked to the energetic cleansing of a space and of other stones.
The chakra-coloured chain
The seven stones on the chain echo the traditional palette of the seven main chakras, so the pendulum is a unified, harmonious piece in colour too.
How it is used
It is used as a tool for self-reflection and intuitive practice, often alongside card reading or meditation. It is worth wiping it after each use so the swing stays calm.
Good to know
This product is a tool for reflection and intuitive practice; it is not a substitute for medical advice or consulting a professional. Selenite is a soft stone, so protect it from moisture and knocks, and clean it with a soft cloth.
