How to open it gently
Dip the neck of the bottle in lukewarm water for about half a minute, then gently twist the cap open. Pull off the seal while it is still wet. The result of handmade work is more delicate than factory bottles, so it is worth working slowly and patiently so that the bottle brings you joy for a long time.
How to use it on everyday days
One drop is usually enough, since the strength of patchouli is enduring. Pat it on your clothes, a meditation pillow or the curtain, and a deep, earthy scent cloud will surround the space. It is a pleasant companion for an evening read, an intimate conversation or a meditation practice, when you wish to settle down.
What to mind during storage
Keep the bottle in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Under the tightly closed cap the oil retains its character for 5 to 10 or even 15 years, and patchouli in particular matures into something even deeper, like a favorite red wine.
