This cardboard box holds a full kilogram of Palo Santo holy wood sticks from Peru, each piece around 10 cm long. We chose this size for households where Palo Santo is already part of daily life and you would like a generous reserve on the shelf, so you never run out of your favourite aroma.
The benefit of a larger pack
The bigger box means many months of supply for you – no need to come back every month for a refill. Stored in a cool, dry place, Palo Santo keeps its aroma well, so there is no hurry. It is also a comfortable choice if you would like to share it with family or close friends.
Natural hand breaking
The sticks are broken by hand from sustainably collected, naturally fallen branches. That means they are not perfectly uniform in length or thickness – every piece has its own character. For many people this natural variety is exactly what makes the experience feel kind and personal.
Origin and gathering
Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) is native to the dry forests of Peru. The wood is gathered only from naturally fallen branches, certified by the Peruvian National Forest Service (SERFOR). No living trees are cut, so your choice does not put pressure on the forest.
Simple use
Take a stick, hold it over a heat-resistant dish and light the tip. Let it burn with a flame for 20 to 30 seconds, then gently blow it out. The glowing end slowly releases its soft, woody scent into the room. When finished, place it on salt, sand or a heat-proof plate – the ember fades on its own and the leftover part can be lit again later.
Storage and safety
Keep the box dry and away from direct sunlight. You can also store the sticks in a closed glass jar or metal tin to preserve the aroma even longer. Never leave a glowing stick unattended, keep it away from children and pets, and ventilate the room from time to time.
