Palo Santo Sacred Wood – natural sticks, approximately 40 g pack

Palo Santo Sacred Wood sticks in an approximately 40 g pack with about 4 pieces of 10 cm. Sourced in Peru from naturally fallen trees, SERFOR-certified.

What is Palo Santo Sacred Wood?

Palo Santo, also called Sacred or Holy Wood, has been used for centuries in the tradition of the Andean peoples to refresh spaces and thoughts. When burned, it gives a softly sweet, resinous scent that many people find close in feel to frankincense or neroli. It can accompany meditation or a quiet evening for you.

What you find in the pack

The pack has a gross weight of about 53 g, with around 40 g of sacred wood itself. There are usually 4 small sticks inside, each about 10 cm long. The sizes are natural, so slight variation can occur; the irregularity of the wood is a mark of its hand-processed origin.

Sustainable source

The sticks are sourced in a 100% sustainable way: no live trees are cut for them; only naturally fallen specimens are processed from forests in Peru. The harvest is certified by the National Forest Service and Wildlife of Peru (SERFOR). The country of origin is Peru; the packaging is a plastic pouch.

How to use the sticks

Light one end of the stick, wait a few seconds, then blow out the flame so the tip glows. Hold it above a heatproof bowl and fan the smoke through the room, or over the object you want to refresh. The stick sometimes goes out by itself; you can gently relight it. A single stick can be used many times.

Storage and safety

Store the sticks in a dry place, closed, so the scent does not fade. Never leave smouldering wood unattended; always use a fireproof vessel and keep it away from children, animals and flammable materials. If you have airway sensitivity, light the incense in a well-ventilated space.
