These incense sticks evoke the scent of South American Palo Santo, the "holy wood", hand-rolled to an Indian masala recipe. Once lit, they release a sweet, woody, faintly citrusy smoke that slowly fills the space.
The tradition of Palo Santo
Palo Santo is the fragrant wood of the Bursera graveolens tree; its name means "holy wood". In South America it is traditionally the incense wood of space-clearing and mood-setting, taken from naturally fallen, matured wood.
