This is the larger double feeding station, on a raised wooden stand. The stand is 35 cm long, 16 cm deep and 10 cm high, and two removable 13 cm stainless steel bowls sit in its top. It is an open box frame, open at the front and back, and weighs 1.02 kg. Made in China.
Ten centimetres off the floor
The rims of the bowls sit 10 cm above the floor, so your dog doesn't have to bend down as far as it would for a bowl on the ground. With the bowls it weighs 1.02 kg, so it doesn't shift easily while your dog eats.
The natural wood frame is pale with a striped grain and looks at home on most floors.
At 35 cm, the stand is about the length of a shoebox, so it fits against a wall or at the end of a kitchen worktop. It suits wet food, dry food and water. Rinse the water bowl daily and fill it with fresh water.
How it differs from the smaller double bowl
The smaller version is 29 cm long and 5.5 cm high, with 12 cm bowls. This one is 6 cm longer, almost twice as tall, and its bowls are bigger. Choose it if your dog is larger than a small breed, or if you'd rather top up the water less often.
Washing and caring for the wood
Lift the bowls out one at a time and wash them in warm soapy water. Wipe the stand with a damp cloth.
The two bowls are the same size, so after washing either one can go back into either opening.
Dogs sometimes slop water onto the wood as they drink. When that happens, wipe it off rather than leaving it to stand, as wood can soak it up. The open inside of the stand is easy to wipe out too.
