The overtone string produces the Octave monochord table's signature floating, harmonic voice, tuned to the d fundamental. As an original Feeltone string, it matches the instrument's designed resonance — it delivers rich harmonics whether plucked individually or stroked in circular motion.
How to use
Replace the string when it sounds dull or fatigued, or when wear is visible. Hook the loop end onto the holder, then gradually tension at the tuning peg to the required pitch. The instrument manual walks you through the process step by step.

To preserve your monochord's tonal identity, only original strings are recommended. Third-party strings may alter the character, and correct length and tension fit are not guaranteed.
