Sound and character
The two brass tubular gongs of the outdoor sound pillar deliver a soft, ringing tone that lingers up to 15 minutes. A special suspension transmits the vibration onto the wooden frame, so the resonance can be both heard and felt. The D and A tuning produces a calm, harmonious sound that blends naturally with surrounding outdoor ambience.
How to use
This is an outdoor sculpture and instrument in one. We recommend it for gardens, parks, clinic courtyards, hotel entrances and the forecourts of community spaces. The 4-metre height also makes it a visual landmark, while visitors can play the gongs with the included mallet. Ideal for meditation paths, therapy gardens and sensory playgrounds.
Why this product
The outdoor sound pillar is an excellent choice if you want a lasting, aesthetic and interactive sound element for an outdoor space. The solid oak frame is built for decades, and the brass gongs withstand weather well. The tactile transfer of vibration creates a special sensory experience that adults and children alike enjoy.
Care tips
- Consult a landscaper before installation for a stable foundation
- Strike the gongs gently with the included mallet — no force required
- Let each tone fade fully before striking again
- Inspect the suspension annually
- Occasionally wipe the brass surfaces with a dry cloth
