What is orgonite?
Orgonite is an object made from a combination of crystal, resin and metal. The word 'orgon' refers to life energy, known in Eastern tradition as chi and in yoga as prana. In tradition it is regarded as a tool for harmonising a space, and many see it as a support for calm and balance. These meanings belong to the object's cultural tradition rather than to any proven, measurable effect.
The stones of the seven chakras
The sphere holds stones associated with the seven chakras: amethyst, sodalite, lapis lazuli, green aventurine, golden quartz, peach aventurine and garnet. Their assigned colours give the sphere its varied, vivid look. The spherical form is, in tradition, considered especially suited to meditation.
Use
Many hold the sphere in the hand as a companion to meditation, or place it as decoration in a living room, where the feng shui tradition holds it harmonises the space. It comes without a stand. It is also a beautiful, vividly coloured decorative object in itself.
