The orgonite pyramid is an object that sits in the hand yet makes a visual statement: metal shavings and colourful gemstones embedded in clear resin, in the shades of the seven chakras. This piece measures roughly 6.5 × 7.2 × 7.6 cm.
What is orgonite?
Orgonite is an object made from a combination of crystal, resin and metal. The word 'orgon' refers to life energy, known in Eastern tradition as chi and in yoga as prana. In tradition, orgonite is regarded as a tool for harmonising a space, and many see it as a support for calm and balance at home or at work. These meanings belong to the object's cultural tradition rather than to any proven, measurable effect.
The stones of the seven chakras
The pyramid holds stones associated with the seven chakras: amethyst, sodalite, lapis lazuli, green aventurine, golden quartz, peach aventurine and garnet. The chakras, in tradition, are the body's subtle energy centres – 'energy wheels' – and their assigned colours give the pyramid its varied, vivid look.
Use
Many place the pyramid in a living room, on a desk or in a meditation corner, though it also fits in a pocket or under a pillow. By tradition, to attune it to your aura it is held in the palm for at least 20 seconds. It is also simply a beautiful, geometric decorative object.
Good to know
This is a handmade, cast object, so the arrangement of stones and the look may vary slightly from piece to piece. It can be wiped with a soft, dry cloth.
