What it is for
It dissolves limescale effectively from stainless taps, chromed surfaces and stone coverings, in both industrial and household settings. It can be used to clean toilets, bathtubs, wet rooms and drains. Citric acid is a natural descaling agent, so the product offers a gentle yet effective solution.
Important restriction
Do not use on acid-sensitive surfaces such as limestone, marble and vitreous enamel. Before use, it is worth doing a test clean in a less visible spot.
Use and dosing
For stubborn limescale and lime deposits, spray directly onto the surface or pour onto the surface to be cleaned and let it stand for 1–3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Repeat the process if needed until the surface is free of limescale. For mopping, add 0.5–1 dl of product to 5 litres of water.
Composition and the environment
Per Regulation 648/2004/EC: less than 5% anionic surfactants, fragrance. The product is made from 100% plant-based ingredients from controlled farming and biodegrades in the environment.
Active ingredients explained
Citric acid is a plant-derived, weak organic acid that dissolves limescale (calcium carbonate), so taps, tiles and sanitary ware become free of limescale. Because it is acidic, however, acid-sensitive stones must be avoided.
