The Octave Sound Massage Table Full Therapist Set in cherry wood is a professional bundle including the bed plus all the essential accessories: adapter with headrest, cushion and arm rest, extra-wide tray for singing bowls under the bed, rolling tuning stool, underlay and a pull-out table on the arm rest. The frame is made of cherry wood (Prunus serotina) and the soundboard of ash wood (Oleaceae). Total dimensions 204 cm (including handles) x 80 cm x 70 cm height, lying surface 196 cm x 80 cm, lying height selectable between 70–80 cm, weight around 60 kg. Accessories include feet, handles, a tuning device, a tuning key and replacement strings.
Sound and character
The 60-string monochord section is tuned with 30 overtone strings to d and 30 bass strings on either side to D. The deep, mature character of the D note is harmonious and calming. The ash soundboard, curved in two directions, ensures long sustain and a full sound. Even a simple stroke of the strings creates overtone-rich, spherical music that guides the client into deep relaxation.
How to use
The set is designed for sound therapists who offer multi-layered sessions. The arm rest and pull-out table allow the client to maintain a natural, relaxed arm position throughout the treatment. The tray under the bed can also hold singing bowls, so you can work with the monochord strings and the bowls simultaneously. This creates an experience that awakens a sense of inner harmony in your clients.
