What does iridescent mean?
An iridescent surface shows different colours depending on where the light comes from and where you look from. A soap bubble does this, so does the mother-of-pearl inside a shell, and so do the wings of the purple emperor butterfly, which flash purple only from certain angles. In summer this butterfly flies in Hungarian woodland too. The beads on this necklace shimmer differently as you move, much as the northern lights keep shifting across the sky.
With jeans or an evening dress
