Nymph Gemstone Bead Bracelet Set – Forest

Green gemstone beads on a set of Nymph bracelets to wear together or apart. About 8 cm laid flat, 12 g in total.

Forest is the green version of the Nymph bracelet sets. The set contains several bracelets, each strung with gemstone beads in several shades of green. Laid flat, the bracelets measure about 8 cm, and the whole set weighs about 12 g. Made in China.

Tree nymphs in Greek myth

Ancient Greeks linked each nymph to a particular place in nature, such as a spring, a mountain or the sea. Forest nymphs were called dryads, a name that comes from the Greek word for oak. In some stories a dryad belonged to a single tree for her whole life. The set's name points to that world, and its green beads to summer leaves.

A wider band of green

Worn side by side, the different greens form a wider band on your wrist. On quieter days one or two are enough, and the rest can wait for another time. If you wear a watch, the bracelets can sit beside it or move to your other wrist.

Green goes well with a white shirt, a beige jumper or denim; on a dark green dress, one or two bracelets are plenty. If you would like a necklace too, the Forest version of the Nymph necklace has deep green beads and a silver-coloured butterfly pendant.

Small differences in the beads

Gemstone beads vary, and their shade and markings may differ slightly from the photos. Take the bracelets off before swimming, bathing or going to bed, and wipe them now and then with a soft, dry cloth. Kept in a small pouch, they will not tangle.
