Blue and pale gold fish follow one another in long columns across light turquoise fabric. Some of the blue fish are striped and some are dotted, while the gold ones show only their outline and scales. This Nomad Sari kaftan is handmade in India from light cotton. It comes in one size, measures 103 × 90 cm laid flat and weighs 128 g.
Turquoise lacing, gold trim
A turquoise fabric strip is laced through the V-neck, with a turquoise tassel at each end, so you decide how open the neckline should be. A braided beige and gold trim runs along the neck edge, and turquoise tassels are sewn to both bottom corners.
From the beach straight to dinner
If you would rather not change for dinner on holiday, wear it with white linen trousers or shorts and go from the beach straight to the restaurant. Turquoise looks good with white, sand colours and a straw bag. In the photo it is worn with bangles and two woven baskets, and it reaches mid-thigh.
Also on a white background
On a white background the same fish print is also available, with white lacing and tassels. Both kaftans share the same loose, square cut with edges that fall over the arms. Choose the white one if you prefer something quieter, and this turquoise one if you like more colour. Each is made by hand, so the fish and the trim may sit slightly differently.
A shawl for cooler evenings
From the same Nomad Sari summer line we also stock 180 × 50 cm cotton shawls in green and gold or coffee and gold. If the wind picks up after dinner, you can throw one over your shoulders. You receive one kaftan, and the bags and bangles in the photo are not included.
