A deep turquoise summer dress, leaning towards teal, with white floral embroidery, in size L–XL. Laid flat it is 55 cm wide, 3 cm wider than the M–L, and the length is the same 110 cm. Handmade in India by Nomad Sari from light cotton with a slightly crinkled finish, it weighs 150 g.
If you wear an L or XL
L–XL is the size for you if you usually buy dresses in L or XL, or if you like a dress to sit loosely. The waist seam runs just under the bust, and from there the gathered skirt falls straight down without clinging. If you are between sizes, this one gives the more comfortable fit. On the model in the photo it reaches mid-calf.
Puff sleeves, tasselled neck
Puffed three-quarter sleeves reach below the elbow and are gathered into a narrow band at the cuff. A short slit at the front of the round neck ties with a turquoise cord, finished with two white tassels. The white flower vines start at the neck and run in two long lines down the front of the skirt.
For a garden party
Deep turquoise is not loud, so this is not only a beach dress. When you are invited to a garden lunch or a family celebration in summer, you will be comfortable in it all afternoon thanks to the full skirt. On a cooler evening, add a white cardigan or a light scarf. The white embroidery shows up from a distance on the deep turquoise. White, silver and natural colours go well with the turquoise.
