Nomad Sari Button-Front Kaftan – Blue with White and Gold Palms

Washed blue kaftan with a shirt collar, buttons all the way down, white embroidered palms and gold beads. One size, 103 × 90 cm laid flat.

This kaftan is made like a loose shirt, with a shirt collar and buttons all the way down the front. The blue fabric has a washed look, lighter along the button band and at the edges, like a well-worn pair of jeans. Four large white palm trees decorate the front, with a line of gold beads running along their leaves. Handmade in India by Nomad Sari, it comes in one size, measures 103 × 90 cm laid flat and weighs 128 g.

Buttoned up or worn open

Buttoned up, it is a short, loose shirt dress, reaching mid-thigh on the model in the photo. Leave the top two buttons undone and you get the V-neck you see in the picture. Worn open, it works as a light cover over your swimsuit or a plain vest top. The sleeves are short and wide because the edges of the square cut fall over the arms. White or beige linen trousers suit it too.

Tufted embroidery, gold beads

The palm leaves are worked in thick, tufted white embroidery, with gold beads running through the middle. Two palms sit at chest height and two lower down, on either side of the buttons. Up close you can see how densely they are stitched. Because it is made by hand, the position of the palms and the washed effect may vary slightly from the photo.

Breakfast on the terrace

The product photo shows it worn barefoot in a flowery garden, with a hammock behind. If you have breakfast on the terrace in summer, you can slip it on quickly, button it up and pop out to the shops afterwards. Should you prefer a light background, the palm theme also comes as a cream kaftan with blue embroidery. You receive one kaftan, and the necklace in the photo is not included.
