Jasmine: the 'queen of scents'

Jasmine is one of the best-known floral scents in the perfume world. Its deep, sweetish yet airy character is often called the 'queen of scents'. Nippon Kodo's Herb & Earth series presents this character more delicately, less densely, so that you can use it on a daily basis.

When does jasmine suit your home?

When preparing a romantic dinner, after a long warm bath, or on a special weekend afternoon, it is particularly pleasant. In a space near (but not inside) the bedroom, it creates a delicate mood.

How to use the thin sticks?

Since floral scents can saturate easily, it is worth trying half a stick first. Pinched off at the middle, the remainder can be saved for later. Place it in a heat-resistant holder, light it, then blow out the flame.

Burn time, typical use

A full stick burns for approximately 20–25 minutes. The package contains 20 thin sticks. For an evening ritual, 1–2 occasions per week are enough to make the package last a long time.

What should you watch for?

Heavy floral scents can cause headaches in sensitive family members. Try it in a short session first and ventilate afterwards. Do not use near children or pets.

Small tips for enjoying the floral scent

Jasmine is at its most beautiful when you gently ventilate the space beforehand. In a clean, neutral space, the floral character comes through much better. A cup of tea, quiet music, and a lit stick together can give you a complete evening experience.

Storage, longevity

Store in a cool, dry place protected from sunlight. This way the scent retains its delicate, floral character for months, and every stick provides the same experience.
