A larger 4–6 cm polished piece of nephrite jade that fills the palm nicely – ideal as a palm stone, decoration or collector’s piece. The polished surface brings out the stone’s deep, full green.
The stone of nephrite jade
Nephrite jade is a tough, dense calcium-magnesium silicate (from the amphibole group), whose fine, fibrous structure makes it remarkably resilient; its Mohs hardness is around 6–6.5. That toughness made it a treasured carving stone across many cultures for thousands of years. In crystal lore it is known as a stone of peace, nurture and wisdom, and tradition links it with balanced emotions.
The larger, polished form
At 4–6 cm this is a substantial palm stone; the polished surface is smooth and pleasant to hold. As a natural stone, the shade and pattern can differ, and every piece is unique.
Ways to use it
Its larger size makes it a lovely stand-alone accent on a shelf, desk or in a crystal corner, and a soothing palm stone to hold during meditation. It also makes a meaningful, refined gift.
Care and good to know
It is a resilient stone, yet it is worth protecting from knocks and storing apart. Rinse under lukewarm water and pat dry with a soft cloth.
