Your own home-made warming bag — exactly to your needs
The natural wheat bag cover is empty, so you are free to choose the contents: wheat, buckwheat, lavender, cumin, or your own herbal blend — anything that holds heat well or gives a pleasant scent. This freedom is what makes a home-made wheat bag so personal.
The experience the cover offers
The natural cotton cover is a soft yet strong textile that holds its contents well and feels comfortable on the skin. The 40 × 14 cm size is the classic wheat-bag dimension: just right to wrap around the neck or rest on the shoulder. The natural (undyed) colour suits almost any home, and painted or embroidered decoration sits well on it if you wish to personalise.
What you receive
- 1 piece empty natural wheat bag cover
- Size: 40 × 14 cm
- Material: natural (undyed) cotton
- Filling not included — you choose freely
Filling and stitching tips
For a classic warming version, 350-400 g of wheat grain is recommended. For an aromatic version, add 2-3 tablespoons of dried lavender or chamomile. After filling, you need to sew one end of the cover closed — with small stitches and strong thread, so that the contents cannot spill under any circumstances. If you want a washable version, sew an inner filling sack as well that can be removed from the cover separately.
Use
- Microwaveable in 1-3 minutes (depending on power)
- Can also be placed in the freezer for cold therapy (in a bag, 1-2 hours)
- Good for neck, shoulder, abdominal and back discomfort
- A simple gift — especially if you fill it by hand yourself
Care
- The filled cover is not machine-washable — the grain would dampen
- For a washable version, make a removable inner sack
- Store in a dry place between uses
