Yes, once the wax has cooled it can be removed easily from the top of the melter. Wait for it to fully solidify (10-20 minutes), then gently scrape it out with a spoon or knife. Any remaining wax can be wiped away with a paper towel. The inside of the melter then stays clean for the next scent change. Never pour liquid wax down the drain — it can clog the pipes; instead let it solidify and dispose of it in the bin.
