Look and symbol
The backpack is made from cotton canvas in a warm terracotta tone, with a hand-printed Hamsa motif on the front. The Hamsa, the protective hand, is one of the oldest symbols in Middle Eastern and South Asian tradition — a quiet wish for protection and good fortune for the person carrying the bag.
Closure and shape
A thick rope drawstring closes the bag and acts as a visual feature, giving the backpack a relaxed, natural look. Dimensions are 38 × 5 × 45 cm, with the slim profile sitting comfortably against the back rather than bulking out behind you. The single main compartment keeps the contents simple to organise.

There is room inside for a 13-inch laptop, a folded jacket, a water bottle, a small towel and a packed lunch — enough for a workday, a class or a city weekend. The rope tie keeps everything in place without relying on zips that can wear down with time.

The backpack is sewn in India from cotton canvas, a natural fibre that softens gradually with use. The empty bag weighs around 290 g, so it stays light on the shoulders. Wipe with a slightly damp cloth for everyday cleaning, and follow the care label for occasional hand-washing.
