White Copal — a fragrance to slow down with
White copal is one of the oldest and most revered resins in aromatic and spiritual traditions. The note here is bright and grounding at the same time: floral and lightly citrussy at the top, sweet resin in the heart, and a quiet, earthy warmth at the base. It pairs naturally with meditation, light stretching or a few minutes of stillness at the close of a long day.
What makes masala incense different
Masala is one of India's oldest stick-incense techniques. Natural resins, herbs and essential oils are blended into a soft paste, which is hand-rolled directly onto the bamboo core. The whole stick carries the fragrance rather than only a surface coating, which gives a softer smoke, a more balanced aroma and a steadier burn from the first minute to the last.
How and when to enjoy it
Place the stick in a stable, heat-resistant holder, light the tip, wait a few seconds and then blow out the flame so the embers can glow on their own. Air the room from time to time. You may find it works well to mark the start of an evening — alongside reading, yoga, gentle stretching, journalling or a slow bath. In the cooler months a warm, resinous stick can take the chill off the mood of a room in moments.
