What is white clay powder good for?
White clay is the gentlest type of clay and is therefore particularly recommended for sensitive and dry skin. At home you can make face masks, cleansing wraps, or add it to simple body-care recipes. The fine texture is mild, does not dry the skin, and you can easily dose it to the desired consistency.
How to use it as a face mask
Take one or two tablespoons of powder into a clean glass or ceramic bowl (do not use metal, as it can react with the clay). Add water, a hydrosol or a mild floral water, and mix to a creamy texture. Apply a thin layer to your face, avoiding the eye and mouth areas. After ten to fifteen minutes, rinse off with lukewarm water. Once or twice a week is enough.
Other uses
White clay powder can also be added to homemade hair masks, foot wraps or baths. Many people use a fine sprinkle on the scalp as a dry shampoo, then brush it out – this is helpful when you need to refresh your hair quickly. You can adjust the dose to suit your own skin type.
Storage and shelf life
Keep the powder in tightly closed packaging, in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. This way you preserve its natural purity and fine texture for a long time. With allergic or inflamed skin, it is worth testing a small area on the inside of the elbow before the first use.
