Najel Damask Rose Hydrosol (organic)

Najel organic Damask rose hydrosol: delicate rose water for facial refresh, make-up setting, hair and summer cooling, 200 ml spray bottle.

The heritage of the Damask rose

The Damask rose is one of the most famous fragrant flowers of the eastern Mediterranean coast, whose distilled water has been an integral part of skincare and perfumery culture for centuries. Najel follows the traditional slow distillation process, so you hold a refined, natural rose fragrance in your hand – never aggressive, never cloying, but refreshingly floral.

Morning facial routine

After cleansing mist a little onto a cotton pad and sweep it gently along forehead, nose and chin. The rose water refreshes the skin, and the serum or cream you apply afterwards absorbs more readily, so make-up settles more smoothly. Two to three pumps are enough for the whole face and leave no sticky feeling on the skin during the day.

Especially for mature skin

On skin over forty it tends to settle into fine lines and helps the moisturiser spread evenly. If you tend to perspire on the forehead during summer, a few sprays over make-up will set the foundation without smudging it. You can also use it as a preparatory mist before a hydrating mask – the actives in the mask absorb more readily.

Body and hair use

In summer heat misted onto the nape, the inner arms and behind the knees it brings an immediate cooling effect. Sprayed onto hair it adds a fragrant soft sheen, which looks particularly nice on darker hair colours. After a day at the beach it can also be gently misted onto sunburned skin and the stinging sensation begins to ease within a few minutes.

Storage and shelf life

Once opened keep it in the fridge and use it within three months for cleanest freshness. Unopened in a cool place it keeps its quality for twenty-four months and the delicate fragrance does not turn sharp or sour. The spray-head valve fits this bottle exactly, so do not swap it for another cap.
