What alum stone is and why our customers love it
Alum is a natural mineral salt used for centuries across the eastern Mediterranean for body care and post-shave soothing. Najel revives this tradition in a handy stick format: simply wet the tip and glide it over clean skin to form a thin, invisible protective layer on the underarm in seconds. The stick is colourless, odourless and does not stain shirts or blouses.
How it neutralises odours
Alum does not block perspiration; instead it keeps in check the skin-surface bacteria that cause unpleasant odours. You preserve the natural cooling function of your skin while odour no longer comes through clothing. It performs reliably during heavy physical work and on hot summer days, lasting our customers through a long day until evening.
Who it suits best
Recommended for sensitive skin, expectant and breastfeeding mothers and anyone consciously avoiding aluminium salts, alcohol and added fragrances. The stick is free from colouring, parabens and perfume, so it can be used directly after shaving without stinging or causing a drying sensation. It is also a sensible first deodorant for teenagers, as it contains no harsh chemistry whatsoever.
How to use it daily
After your morning shower, moisten the stick under running water for a few seconds and apply with a circular motion in two or three strokes to clean, dry underarms. Let it dry for a second or two and you are ready to dress. With daily use one stick lasts roughly six to eight months, making it remarkably economical compared with conventional aerosol deodorants.
Storage and shelf life
After use wipe the stick dry and close it with the supplied cap to keep dust away. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Alum does not spoil, go rancid or oxidise, so you can safely keep it on the bathroom shelf for many months without any loss of quality.
