What the oily hair variant means
Najel uses the same traditional Aleppo soapmaking for the oily hair variant, but adjusts the ratios so the shampoo does not weigh down the hair. The high ratio of laurel oil helps regulate the scalp's oil production – this is what distinguishes it from the dry hair variant.
Who we recommend it to
If you need daily or every-other-day washing due to oily scalp, this shampoo can be a gentler choice than many industrial, strongly cleansing products. The natural ingredients do not strip the hair excessively of its own oils, so the scalp gradually settles.
How to use
Work the shampoo into wet hair on the scalp with circular motions. Scalp massage is particularly important for oily hair, because it stimulates blood circulation and helps remove excess sebum. Rinse with plenty of lukewarm – not hot – water.
Tip for weekly routine
Try washing the hair daily at first, but gradually reduce – many find that after a few weeks the scalp calms down, and fewer washes are enough. Do not wash the hair with hot water, because this can increase sebum production.
What to consider
Due to the natural ingredients, the shampoo lathers less than typical industrial products – this is normal. Store the shampoo at room temperature, use within 12 months of opening, and always close the cap.
Customer experience for oily hair
You may have tried many things for oily hair. Our customers particularly love this shampoo, because it not only treats symptoms but helps the scalp come into balance long-term. You can experience significant change after a few weeks of regular use – patience is needed, but it is worth it.
