Why is the bamboo-free stick special?
In the center of classic Indian incense sticks runs a thin bamboo core, which also smokes during burning and gives some hard, 'rope-smoke'-like side scent. With Japanese bamboo-free technology, the entire stick consists purely of plant materials and resins, so the scent is cleaner and more even. You receive a finer, less pungent experience.
The character of myrrh
Myrrh is a close relative of frankincense: also an ancient resinous scent, but with a deeper, more balsamic, slightly more earthy character. It was used in ancient ceremonies and in medicine. Today, many experience it as the scent of meditation and contemplation.
When should you light it?
Before an evening meditation session, during quiet journaling, prayer, or longer reading, we particularly recommend it to you. The deep, balsamic scent can help with turning attention inward.
Burn time, safety
One stick burns for approximately 25–30 minutes. Since there is no bamboo core, it is more fragile, so remove it carefully from the package. A heat-resistant holder and tray are mandatory.
For whom do we not recommend it?
Those who prefer fresh, citrusy scents will likely find it too deep and serious. In case of fragrance sensitivity, a short test use is advisable.
A small note on composition
In refining white sage, the Japanese masters kept in mind that the clearing character of the scent should remain, but the smoke should be quieter and more disciplined. That is why the Morning Star series has become part of daily rituals in many families.
Storage, longevity
Store in the original packaging in a cool, dry place. This way the scent retains its clean, herbal character for months, and every new stick gives you the same refreshing experience.
