Frankincense as it lives in Japanese temples
Frankincense is one of the most ancient incenses: it is present at ancient ceremonies, in Christian churches, and in Japanese Buddhist shrines. Nippon Kodo's Morning Star series presents this warm, resinous, slightly sweetish scent with Japanese restraint. You receive a classic in a modern, reliable form.
Why is the Morning Star package popular?
Thanks to the 50 short sticks and the accompanying ceramic holder, it is a particularly practical entry set. You do not need to look for a separate holder, and the shorter stick length makes the scent release more controlled. Many start exploring Japanese incense with this set.
When does it suit your home?
It is particularly pleasant during evening reading, quiet music, meditation, or prayer. Many experience the character of frankincense as the scent of turning inward, of contemplation. A good choice for holidays and family ceremonies as well.
Burn time, correct use
One stick burns for approximately 25 minutes. Place it in the ceramic holder, light the tip, then blow out the flame. Keep a heat-resistant tray under the holder too, and never leave it unattended.
What should you watch for?
Frankincense is a warm scent with a slightly dense character. In case of respiratory complaints, or in the presence of small children or pets, we recommend moderating use and ventilating afterwards.
A small tip for use
Try the stick at different times of day: the same scent works differently in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Many people share that the character of frankincense gives them a mood of varying depth depending on the time of day.
Storage, shelf life
Store the sticks in the original packaging in a cool, dry place protected from sunlight. This way the scent retains its warm, resinous character for months, and every new stick gives you the same experience.
