Sound and character
Monolini F is the second-deepest tuning in the range, in a compact size. Its character is full and vibrating, but not too deep — a strong choice if you want close-to-deep vibration without going into the lowest D range. The 21 strings give a unified, harmonious sound in which the bass, the fifth and the overtones work together in a balanced way.
How to use
Beside the Monolini F instrument, the Travel Set contains the round stand and extension, wide bag, felt and santoori beater, protective mats, tuning key, tuner, spare strings, monochord scarf and a 30-minute online Zoom introduction. The whole package is light and compact, so you can carry it from one venue to another with one hand.
- Set the stand up on a flat, stable surface.
- Place the instrument on it and check that you can reach the strings from both sides.
- The Zoom introduction helps you learn the first tuning and playing techniques.

Care tips
- Re-tune the overtone strings now and then — a semitone lower or higher is also possible if you feel it fits the room better.
- It is worth listening to the sound samples on headphones so every detail comes through.
- Store the bag in a dry, cool place when not in use.
