Sound and character
The Monolina monochord in F tuning is the second-deepest member of the family, offering rich vibration and tonal fullness. Its 24 overtone strings in F, 5 bass strings in F and 5 fifth strings in c weave together into a particularly dense, embracing carpet of sound. Five movable bridges with a template can be slid under the top strings, allowing you to add a pentatonic major or minor melody zone above the meditative drone.
How to use
The curved underside of the instrument nestles comfortably against the back, chest, belly or feet, making it ideal for body-monochord use. You can play it in therapeutic sessions, sound baths, yoga classes or your own meditation practice. The koto-like melody zone lets you weave short melodic phrases into the meditative drone, which the listener's mind tends to continue intuitively.

The F tuning suits those who seek deeper, grounding frequencies but prefer a slightly brighter, more open character than the D version.
