The Monolina Monochord in D tuning is one of Feeltone's most popular instruments: meditative, melodic and rhythmic all at once. With 34 strings it shares the same base as the Monolini, but is considerably more versatile — under the top strings you can place 5 dividing bridges to play pentatonic major or minor melodic phrases.

Sound and character
The 24 overtone strings sound together in a rich, pearling sound carpet, supported by 5 bass and 5 fifth strings forming a deep backbone. The D tuning is the deepest of the series: thick bass, pronounced vibration. With the dividing bridges you can play koto-like melodic phrases in the upper range — at any time you can layer a spontaneous pentatonic melody that always stays harmonious. The curved underside fits perfectly to the back, legs, chest or belly, so the vibrations also act directly through the body.
