Sound and character
The Monolina monochord in C tuning delivers an overtone-rich voice with a clear major character. Its 24 overtone strings in c, 5 bass strings in c and 5 fifth strings in g weave an open, serene and almost ceremonial atmosphere. Five movable bridges with a template can be placed under the upper strings to add a pentatonic major or minor melody zone next to the meditative drone.
How to use
The curved underside of the C-tuned Monolina rests comfortably against the back, chest, belly or feet, making it ideal for use as a body monochord. You can play it in sound baths, group meditations, yoga classes and your personal home practice. Thanks to its bright major colour, it pairs especially well with opening or closing ceremonies and festive occasions.

Care tips
- New strings need frequent retuning during the first few days until they settle.
- By moving the bridges you can continuously shape the character of the koto zone.
- The two enclosed sticks reveal a percussive, santoor-like playing style.
