Small in size yet rich in symbolism, this mini broom echoes the besoms of folklore and ritual practice. It is made of natural broom grass (Thysanolaena latifolia) by hand. Its compact size makes it lovely on an altar, in a seasonal display, as a symbolic gift or on the corner of an intimate shelf. It is adorned with a white-metal Triquetra symbol and green aventurine.
The Triquetra symbol and green aventurine
The Triquetra is an ancient threefold knot symbol associated with unity, connection and eternity; its interwoven arcs evoke continuity. The green aventurine that adorns it is a green quartz sparkling with mica inclusions, known in tradition as a stone of opportunity and growth.
