Sometimes you do not burn incense in one spot but carry it through the space. This iron incense burner with a handle is made for that: holding it by the handle, you can safely move the smouldering incense from room to room.
What is it for?
At 7.5 cm, the burner serves the tradition of space-clearing (smudging), when you move through a space with white sage or palo santo. It is also suitable for loose herbal incense. The handle keeps your hand cool, and the lid helps control the smoke.
How to use it
Fill the burner two-thirds with fine sand or small pebbles (available separately). Place the smouldering charcoal tablet and/or incense on top, then carry it around carefully by the handle. When you are done, the lid lets you put it out.
