MEINL Sonic Energy Meditation Flow Chime – 432 Hz, C# Minor, Silver
This MEINL Sonic Energy Meditation Flow Chime is the smaller, 8-note version of the series: it consists of eight aluminum tubes, approx. 60 cm (24") long, with a silver finish. The tubes are tuned to the notes of C# minor, based on 432 Hz tuning. Played with the included mallet, it produces a rounded, gentle, long-ringing tone; many people use it for meditation, quiet moments and sound baths.
Construction and Materials
The tubes hang on strong nylon cords between two central ash wood holders. You can play the corrosion-resistant aluminum tubes individually or together, for single clear notes or gently flowing sequences. The chime is playable from both sides, and the mallet can be stored in the integrated holder.
What Does 432 Hz Tuning Mean?
With 432 Hz tuning, the instrument is tuned to a reference pitch of 432 Hz instead of today's standard 440 Hz. Many people find this tuning softer and warmer.
Transport and Storage
The chime comes in a padded carrying bag with flocked velvet lining, which protects the tubes during transport and storage.
