Megyer F1 pickling cucumber is a very vigorous hybrid. Super-early, vigorous growth, disease-resistant. Gives the first cucumber weeks before traditional varieties — ideal if you want fresh cucumbers as soon as possible.
Growing
Sow in early May. Plant spacing 30 cm, row spacing 1 metre. Trellis training.
The cucumber ripens already in early June. Uses: fermented gherkins, baby pickles, fresh salad. The early ripening makes it excellent for premium-price early market sales too.
