This is the larger version of the brown plush bed: 70 cm long and 55 cm wide, with padded sides 18 cm high. The outside is brown polyester, and a lighter, soft plush lining covers both the base and the inner walls. It is filled with synthetic fibre, weighs 1 kg and is made in China.
This bed belongs to the same line as the small brown one, so if you have two pets, the two sizes look right side by side.
Ten centimetres more room
It is 10 cm longer and 10 cm wider than the small brown bed. That helps if your cat sleeps stretched out, or if your dog has outgrown a smaller bed. It is meant for cats and small dogs, but do measure your own pet before you choose.
The front edge is lower, so a short-legged dog can walk straight in without jumping.
It keeps its hollow
The 18 cm padded wall keeps its shape better than a flat dog cushion. Your pet can settle into the middle and has something to lean on. Because the plush also lines the inside of the wall, it meets something soft wherever it leans.
Apart from a small logo on the front, it is a plain, understated bed.
At the end of the sofa
At the end of a sofa or on the rug in front of the TV, it fits without rearranging the room. If you like to have your pet beside you in the evening, pull the bed up next to the sofa. Keep it away from the front of a radiator or a draughty door; a good spot is anywhere you would happily sit yourself.
After unpacking
Because it arrives vacuum-packed, it looks flatter on the first day than in the photos. Loosen the filling with both hands and put the bed in a warm room. The creases fade within a few days, and you can use it in the meantime.
