Medium African Morocco Stones – Unakite
Unakite is a truly distinctive-looking mineral: the colourful, mottled pattern born from the natural mixing of pink feldspar and green epidote is immediately recognisable and visually appealing. Our medium-sized unakite tumbled stones are imported directly from Africa, genuinely natural and untreated. Unakite is traditionally symbolically associated with patience and balance, and is one of those stones that reflects nature's diversity through its very appearance.
Technical Data
- Material: Unakite (epidote + feldspar mixture)
- Size: medium (approx. 3–4 cm)
- Weight: approx. 200 g / pack
- Colour: green-pink spots
- Origin: Africa
- Form: polished tumbled stone
Characteristics
The main visual interest of unakite is the juxtaposition of green (epidote) and pink/salmon (K-feldspar) patches – creating an almost painterly effect. Polishing makes the contrast between the two mineral components even more pronounced. Each stone shows a different internal pattern: in some the green dominates, in others the pink, and in some pieces the two colours appear in roughly equal proportions.
How to Use
The unakite tumbled stone is an excellent decorative element for an office, bedroom or living room. Its natural, organic appearance pairs well with wooden surfaces, beside potted plants, or simply gathered in a bowl with other mixed stones. It also makes a great gift: its appearance is unique yet its name is less widely known, making it a genuine surprise for mineral enthusiasts.
Why Choose This?
Unakite is one of those stones that surprises most people – few know its name, but its pattern immediately catches the eye. The medium-sized unakite stones offered by Természetkosár come from genuine African import in natural, untreated form, so you receive an authentic mineral.
Tips
- Unakite looks beautiful alongside other „mixed” minerals such as mookaite or jasper.
- Place it around plants in a flower pot – its green tones blend harmoniously with the plant's greenery.
- When collecting, observe how much green and how much pink appears in each piece – everyone can find their own favourite.
