Meditation Tea 50g

Chamomile, St. John's wort, hawthorn, lavender, lemon balm — a caffeine-free herbal blend for meditation, stillness and calm evenings at home.

Meditation Tea 50g

Meditation Tea is a purely herbal, caffeine-free blend composed specifically for quiet moments: meditation, breathing practice, reading, journalling, or simply settling in after a long day. Chamomile forms the heart of the blend, supported by delicate botanical notes: yarrow, St. John's wort, lavender, lemon balm, hawthorn and the special lapacho. Every sip offers a small piece of quiet in the day.

Flavour profile

A golden-amber cup in which chamomile's ripe, honeyed apple sweetness takes the lead. Yarrow adds a gently spiced, bitter-green tone, lemon balm opens a fresh new direction, and lavender contributes an airy, floral finesse. St. John's wort, hawthorn and passionflower offer serious, deep background; lapacho bark (a South American herb with fine, woody, coffee-like notes) adds character and depth. The whole composition feels like a summer meadow at twilight.

What it is for

We recommend it when you intentionally wish to slow down — before or after meditation, during yoga, in the quiet of the late evening. A cup of warm, aromatic Meditation Tea helps attention turn inward and supports the body in tuning into stillness. It is not a sleeping aid, nor a remedy — simply a thoughtful companion on the path to calm. Perfect after a long, chaotic day when inner peace needs to be restored.

Preparation

Place 4 grams of tea (one heaped teaspoon) into 200 ml of water at 95 degrees Celsius. Steep for 5 to 10 minutes to taste. Longer steeping brings out the deeper, woody notes of hawthorn and lapacho, while shorter steeping emphasises the floral finesse. It can be sweetened with honey or a dash of apple syrup. Best enjoyed from a ceramic or glass cup, seated comfortably, with slow sips. Candlelight, soft music, a cosy armchair — all pair well with this tea.

Ingredients

Chamomile, yarrow, St. John's wort, lavender, lemon balm, lapacho, hawthorn, passionflower, aroma. The blend combines traditional European medicinal herbs with one South American guest ingredient (lapacho). Every component was selected for its natural, supportive, calming character. Traditional plants of European herb gardens meet here in a quiet composition.

Who we recommend it to

For meditators, yoga practitioners, therapists — anyone who cultivates the art of slowing down. For writers and readers who appreciate a tea alongside long, quiet hours of reading or creative work. With care, it also makes a thoughtful gift for someone who would benefit from a little tenderness. Suitable for children in a cooled, diluted form, though it is composed with adult contemplation in mind. A careful choice for those recovering from illness as well.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from light, in a tightly sealed container. Keep away from strong-smelling spices or coffee, as the fine floral aromas absorb external scents easily. Once opened, enjoy within 6 to 8 months for the fullest aroma. Chamomile and lavender readily pick up surrounding odours, so keep it in an airtight container, separate from other teas.
