The socks arrive from Nepal in mixed colours: artisans pick from red, brown, grey, purple and deep blue tones. Within each pair both socks share the same colour. As this is hand knitting, small differences in pattern can occur from pair to pair, and we see this as a quiet sign of craft work rather than a fault.
Cleaning and care
Wash by hand in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent. Machine washing and spinning are not recommended, as the wool may shrink and lose its shape. Press the water out gently between two towels and dry the socks flat. Store them stretched out, not folded tightly, so they keep their form for a long time.
Origin and packaging
The socks are knitted in Nepal by local artisans in small runs. They arrive at us in a paper bag, so they reach the shelf clean and dry. You receive one pair per order, with a total weight of 150 grams.
