A textile that sets the frame for meditation
This meditation shawl (or blanket) is deliberately extra large – around 115 × 245 cm. Big enough to wrap fully around you in a cross-legged seat, with extra reaching the floor for warmth. The warm red, pink and orange shades feel lively yet calm. You can use it as a shawl, as a seat or sleeping blanket as you wish.
How does it support meditation?
The textile plays a simple but important role: it signals to body and mind that something special begins here and now. A full wrap creates a sense of shelter and helps psychologically keep outside impressions at a distance – a ringing phone, family noise, movement. This helps you turn inward.
What else can you use it for?
As a resting blanket after morning yoga, as a compact throw on the sofa during cool evenings, as a shawl across the shoulders for journaling or reading, or simply as a decorative throw at the foot of the bed. The size allows a smaller or medium-tall person to use it as a full blanket. You may also take it to a cool yoga studio or a chilly church.
Material and care
The textile is made of 70% acrylic and 30% cotton – pleasantly warm yet breathable, and easy to care for. The cotton keeps the touch fresh, while the acrylic preserves shape and colour. Wash on a cool, gentle programme up to 30°C. Do not wring it hard – stretch it out while damp to dry, so it keeps its shape.
What to know before buying
Because the textile is hand-finished, small pattern variations, fine yarn details or tiny weaving irregularities are normal – not flaws, but signs of handmade work. The shades come alive in real fabric, so there may be a small difference between the photos and the piece you receive. You receive a large, versatile textile.
