The purpose of the Meditation blend
This resin blend was created especially as an aromatic companion to practices of turning inward and quiet immersion. The natural resins give a deep, slightly earthy, balsamic base, joined by softer, warmer nuances. You will feel its effect most when you light it in a quiet room before a comfortable seat and give it a few minutes of patience before starting your practice.
Step-by-step use
Place a self-igniting charcoal disc in a heat-resistant censer, ideally on a layer of sand. Light its edge and wait until the whole surface glows evenly. Add a few grains of the Meditation blend and watch them slowly melt. The aroma will unfold gradually over the next few minutes. Stay quiet and follow your breath in the meantime.
When it will truly be a companion
It fits morning or evening meditation, longer silent sittings, or simply a quiet, solitary afternoon. You may also reach for it after a lot of information, when you wish to settle your mind a little. The slow presence of the resin aroma helps many to keep their attention on their own inner experience.
Storage and shelf life
Keep the 500 g pack in a well-sealed glass jar or metal tin in a cool, dark place. The aromatic character can be preserved for two to three years. Keep it away from hot surfaces and direct sunlight, and carefully store it out of reach of children and pets. Charcoal discs are best kept separately in a dry place.
The long-term meditation experience
With regular use the aroma can become associated with the moments when you meet your own inner silence. Many users say that after a few weeks of practice the very thought of lighting the resin already calms them. The large pack is an economical choice for those for whom meditation is a daily or weekly practice and who appreciate having their favourite companion at hand.
