A precise, geometric pattern on the cover, with the comfort of buckwheat hull filling beneath: this meditation cushion tunes you for practice with the ordered lines of Metatron's Cube, giving a stable, upright seat.
Metatron's Cube
Metatron's Cube is a well-known figure of sacred geometry: built from intersecting circles and lines, it contains the structure of the regular spatial solids (the Platonic solids). Tradition holds it as a symbol of the order of creation, of harmony and wholeness. On a meditation cushion it is a quiet pattern of inner order and focus. These are traditional meanings, not facts.
Make and filling
The outer cover is cotton with a zip; the inner cushion is cotton with a drawstring close. The natural buckwheat hull filling holds its shape well, and the height can be set by adding or removing filling; a separate refill bag is available too. It measures 33 × 17 cm.
Care
The cover can be washed by hand in cold to lukewarm water, or in the machine at 30°C. Because of different dye baths, the shade may vary slightly between batches – a natural trait of textiles.
