Warm, deep colours and an unfolding lotus flower: thanks to its buckwheat hull filling, this meditation cushion gives a comfortable, stable seat and helps keep the spine upright during practice.
The lotus in warm colours
The lotus is a symbol of rising from haze toward light, of clear unfolding – it grows from the mud into a clean flower. The cushion's purple and red tones lend this a warmth and a lively, vivid mood. This meaning is traditional, not a fact.
Make and filling
The outer cover is cotton with a zip; the inner cushion is cotton with a drawstring close. The natural buckwheat hull filling holds its shape well, and the height can be matched to your build by adding or removing filling; a separate refill bag is available too. It measures 33 × 13 cm.
Care
The cover can be washed by hand in cold to lukewarm water, or in the machine at 30°C. Because of different dye baths, the shade may vary slightly between batches – a natural trait of textiles.
